About Storey Creek Golf Club

Situated just south of Campbell River, British Columbia, Storey Creek Golf Club is internationally renowned for its stunningly picturesque and challenging, yet playable Les Furber designed golf course, located on the east-central coastline of Vancouver Island.

Widely publicized as ‘a Course in Nature’, golfers can expect to experience an abundance of natural beauty and tranquility amidst the old growth and second growth forest that surrounds Storey Creek Golf Club, resulting in a very unique golfing experience in nature’s backyard. Wildlife compliments this extraordinary environment with regular sightings of deer, hawks and eagles alongside magnificent beaver ponds and streams filled with salmon, trout and water fowl. Black bears and cougars can occasionally be seen on the course as well.

Good, shorter community golf course, easy walk, greens that are usually medium fast and contoured, interesting routing on some of the shorter holes. Overall a good value and enjoyable round...if you're playing for the first time, some tee shots are difficult to predict the right line and landing area.

First of all, this is a great course to play. Interesting holes, fast greens and nice views. The customer service was great. I had left my range finder charging in my hotel room. I realized my error while paying my green fee. An employee in the pro shop named Max actually lent me his own Bushnell for the round. I was blown away by that customer service.

Beautiful course. It's in great shape. There is a fair bit of shade if it's a hot day AND they have several 10 gallon containers with ice cold water on the course where you can fill up your own containers ! Love this !!! Thank you. Restaurant staff were super friendly. Whole experience was great.

Always find the folks in the Pro Shop professional, yet friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful course, challenging in the trees but that just makes it so much better. Staff in the restaurant have always been on point and friendly as well, good atmosphere.

This is the best golf course on Vancouver Island! Also, the food and kitchen staff are amazing!! The golf course is in excellent condition, and very quiet and peaceful (no road noise). Did I mention how good the food is here? Worth a visit for sure.

I try to get in a round here every summer, so I was back in August 2021 and the weather was perfect for my late afternoon start, which means the best time to be on the course - especially by mid-round. Nirvana.Carded a few pars but overall, it was a tough round - again! LOL Lost several golf balls along the way. However, it doesn't matter because the layout is great, conditions were perfect and I love playing golf!I'm always happy to recommend Storey Creek. A beautiful setting, plenty of variety in the layout and reasonable rates.

If you are a long driver golfer and it is your first time, and you read the yardage of each hole, you probably under-estimate the difficulty, the course requires a clear strategy with confused version and high degree of accuracy, challenges are the fun, I was beaten badly and will try again
